3. Data you provide in the app
Text you type or paste into RibbonDiff is processed locally on your Mac to compute and display differences. This content is not transmitted to us.
4. Local storage
RibbonDiff stores settings locally (for example: appearance/theme choices, line number preferences, word wrap, and imported theme definitions). This information stays on your device and is used only to make the app work the way you configured it.
5. Files you import/export
If you choose to import or export theme JSON files, RibbonDiff accesses only the file(s) you explicitly select. Imported themes are stored locally. Exported themes are written to the location you choose.
6. Third‑party services
RibbonDiff does not integrate third‑party analytics or advertising services.
7. Support communications
If you email us for support, we will receive the information you include in your message (such as your email address, message content, and any attachments). We use this information only to respond to you and provide support.
8. Data retention
- App settings remain on your device until you change them, reset them, or uninstall the app.
- Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve your request and maintain reasonable support records.
9. Your choices
Because RibbonDiff does not collect personal data from the app itself, there is typically no user data for us to export or delete. If you want us to delete a support email thread, contact us at ribbon@craftclay.com.
