MarkPane is a one-time paid download for macOS. Open Markdown files or folders from Finder, the File menu, or drag and drop; then create files and folders, browse, rename, move items to Trash, search, edit, print, and check rendered output in a native Mac interface. No subscription. Purchases and downloads are handled by Apple.
MarkPane opens local Markdown and text files in a polished native viewer, creates new Markdown files and folders, and can browse, rename, or move items to Trash in a folder tree when you want to move through a set of related documents. It supports common Markdown content plus GitHub-style alerts, tables, task lists, details sections, code blocks, footnotes, local images, Mermaid diagrams, and MathJax-backed display math.

This update improves MathJax rendering for Markdown files with technical notation. Equations with compact matrices, grouped subscripts and superscripts, aligned derivations, single-line display math, and quantum notation such as ket, bra, and braket expressions now render more reliably. It also expands math coverage for calculus, linear algebra, and physics-style notes.
